Advantages

SGG PLANITHERM TOTAL 1.3 has a range of features which sets it apart from traditional low-E products. These significant benefits allow fabricators to positively differentiate their offer to both the domestic and commercial markets, giving them an added competitive edge in an increasingly discerning marketplace:

Enhanced Thermal Insulation-

Double glazed units incorporating
SGG PLANITHERM TOTAL 1.3 offer significantly better thermal insulation performance compared to traditional hard coated low-E products:

1. Considerable reductions in heating bills
2. Eliminates cold areas around windows
3. Reduced condensation on the inner pane
4. Allows a larger range of frame types, sizes and designs to comply with current Building Regulations
5. Environmentally friendly solution, given the lower CO2 emissions associated with reduced energy consumption

Neutral Appearance-

The new generation Planitherm coating is remarkably neutral, in both transmission and reflection, as opposed to traditional hard coated low-E products which typically have a noticeable tint:

1. White curtains remain looking white from outside
2. No discolouration of Georgian bars

Exceptional Clarity-

SGG PLANITHERM TOTAL 1.3 offers a high level of light transmittance, maximising the entry of natural daylight into the building. This type of coating also benefits from the lack of 'haze effect' commonly associated with hard coated products.
Furthermore, these superior aesthetic qualities remain unchanged whether annealed or toughened, unlike other low-E products which may show surprising variations in colour or clarity.

Description
