This type of glass was once an optional extra, but now a standard option when we are installing Windows and Doors in the main dwelling of your home since it became compliant in April 1st 2002. This is one of FENSA's strict requirments on all replacement window and door installations. We currently have 3-4 random inspections a month by the BBA (British Board of Agrement) to ensure the correct glass is being used. Most Low- E glass offered by our competitors has a yellow appearance to it, leaving your net curtains looking stained, and tarnished. Be sure you know what Low Emission glass you are buying into.
