Saturday 23rd June 3pm – 9pm : A day of family fun, including live music, face painting, a BBQ and a bar. St Catherine’s Primary School on Haslewood Avenue will be raising funds to open a music suite in memory of former teacher Mandy Staiano, who sadly passed away earlier this year after a short battle with cancer. 3. Historic Hoddesdon
Sunday 10th June / 15th July 2018 / 12th & 26th August: Keep yours and the kids minds active throughout the summer holidays by taking a trip back in time to one of the first brick-built houses in the country; the Rye House Gatehouse. The grounds are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and the Gatehouse will open on the summer Sunday dates mentioned. Its free admission, with a £1 suggested donation to help with its upkeep.
4. Sporty Hoddesdon
Monday 30th July / 6th August: If you’re 8-15 year old is looking for something different to take part in this summer, how about a junior development session at Rye House Kart Raceway? Having grown in popularity, it’s only £39.99 for a 3.5-hour session.
5. Interesting Hoddesdon
Saturday 11th August: With a variety of events and activities taking place throughout the summer, Lowewood Museum’s popular Family Fun Day is back; 11am-4pm. Free for all the family, it’s a day packed full of activities for the whole family to enjoy.
