At first glance, an aluminium entrance door, whether fitted to the front, side or rear of a property is not instantly distinguishable. That’s because aluminium is such a versatile material, which can be manufactured into numerous shapes and styles. However, aluminium has some major advantages over other materials like uPVC and timber, primarily its lightweight properties. Although extremely light, aluminium is used as a major component in the construction and engineering industries, so it’s also exceptionally strong.
Aluminium entrance doors are designed to suit more contemporary properties and can be selected from a range of designs, to include patterned or decorative glass and a range door furniture.
However, the one factor that makes aluminium the choice of many discerning homeowners is the fact that aluminium can be finished in a colour of choice. With 200 RAL colours to choose from, your entrance door can contrast beautifully with any external brick or stonework. There is even the option to have a woodgrain finish to your aluminium entrance door, if preferred.

Glass and security
Although aluminium doors have very slim profiles, double or triple glazing is easily accommodated within the thermally efficient sections, and as you would expect, laminated glass can be fitted as an option for additional security. The glass is also eco-friendly, energy saving to ensure maximum heat retention, and minimal heat loss.
Aluminium entrance doors can be fitted direct to brick or timber constructed properties. Multi-point locking systems are fitted to all our aluminium entrance doors, regardless of the proposed location for the installation. Our range of aluminium doors are also compliant to Doc L of the building regulations for new build, and replacement or refurbishments.
